The Success of AIS Alumni, Monita An

Greeting everyone! I am an AIS Alumni of the 2018-2019 Academic year of the American Intercon School, Tuol Kork campus. I had studied at AIS from grade 9 until grade 12.

There are three important factors for the Academic success such as own self, family and the correct school selection.

1. Own self: We need to have an understanding of the benefits and values ​​of education so that we can strive and acquire knowledge on our own. In particular, we must know how to use that knowledge in a way that is right and virtuous, so that knowledge brings great results in society. Most importantly, we need to share the good knowledge that we have learned so far and be a role model to the next generation so that they could understand, participate in protecting and practicing to build a more prosperous nation.
2. Family: Definitely, the family factor is the most important one because if there is no support from the family, everything is so little. In fact, I, myself am 90% successful today because of the encouragement from my dear mother. She’s always supporting me financially, giving the encourage and advices for me to acquire deep knowledge, to be dignified, to use knowledge correctly, to remember the country, where I am from and especially to be a grateful child, good students and good citizens to develop the society.
3. Correct School Selection: It is also an important factor because school is a second home for all of us to acquire knowledge. Apparently, AIS is a disciplined school with teachers who are professional with good explanations and easy tips for students to catch up quickly. Not only that, AIS often offers many scholarships both domestically and abroad for students. Apparently, I personally received a scholarship to study Business Management in Foshan, China. Currently, I have transferred to Switzerland as a second-year student at BHMS Luzern Switzerland collaborated from RGU University in England in Hospitality Management because I love Hospitality Management with high standards and aim for the future as well.c
