Alumni represent an invaluable resource for the future of American Intercon School (AIS). Besides playing the role of real witnesses of excellence in the services we provide throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia, they could contribute with their time and skill to important initiatives as well as developing connections and synergies between AIS and the society.
Creating an engaged, supportive and overall positive experience for alumni means that the messages they share about our school will also be positive. With the absence of an Alumni body in AIS, their knowledge of our activities and achievements will not evolve. The messages they will share with people will be out-of-date. Maintaining communication channels with alumni means that we can keep them informed of our achievements and make them part of our school's future, not just its past.
Good alumni relations benefit alumni as well as the school. If we support our alumni in their professional and personal lives through activities such as the facilitation of social and professional networks; and provision of privileges and benefits; they are likely to be our loyal life-long supporters. Our support may also help our alumni achieve positions of success and influence, which will in turn benefit our school as they begin to give back.
